Shredded Shapes
One day I was emptying my paper shredder in my study at home and I couldn’t help examining the shreds in the bin and wondering how I might be able to use them to create a collage. That’s how this series Shredded Shapes was born. Shredded paper holds a very personal symbolism for me. After moving through a difficult chapter of my life, I quite literally took the shreds of my old world and used them to build something more peaceful and more beautiful. Working with paper continues to be a deeply healing process—one that mirrors how I’ve rebuilt myself piece by piece.
